FAQ for Creators
To become a creator, sign up for an account and navigate to your profile settings. Click on "Convert to Creator Account" to enable creator features. You'll be able to create subscription plans, post exclusive content, and connect with your members.
Once you're a creator, go to your Wallet section and click on "Membership Plans". You can create multiple subscription tiers with different prices and benefits. Set monthly prices, add descriptions, and customize what content subscribers get access to.
Clexif uses Stripe Connect for secure payments. Connect your Stripe account in the Wallet section. You'll receive payments from subscriptions and shop purchases directly to your connected account. Payments are processed according to Stripe's payout schedule.
Yes! Creators can open a shop to sell digital or physical products. Navigate to the Shop section and click "Create Product". Add images, descriptions, prices, and inventory details. Your shop will be visible on your public profile.
You can post images, videos, and text content. Content can be marked as free (visible to everyone) or exclusive (subscribers only). All content must comply with our Terms of Use and community guidelines.
Visit the "Subscribed Users" section to see all your current subscribers, view their subscription status, and track your subscriber growth over time. You can also see subscription analytics in your Wallet's Income Overview.
Yes, you can request withdrawals from your Wallet section once you meet the minimum withdrawal threshold. Withdrawals are processed through your connected Stripe account. Processing time depends on your bank and location.
Your creator profile has a unique public URL that you can share on social media. Add your external social media links to your profile so members can find you. Use the share buttons on your posts to promote content across different platforms.
FAQ for Members
Visit a creator's profile and click on one of their subscription plans. You'll be redirected to a secure checkout page where you can complete your subscription using a credit card. Subscriptions renew automatically each month.
When you subscribe, you get immediate access to all the creator's exclusive subscriber-only content. You'll also be able to comment on their posts and receive notifications about new content from creators you follow.
Go to "My Subscriptions" in your account menu. Find the subscription you want to cancel and click the "Cancel" button. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again.
Yes! Browse the Marketplace or visit individual creator shops to purchase products. You don't need a subscription to buy shop items. Complete your purchase through our secure checkout, and the creator will process your order.
Visit any creator's profile and click the "Follow" button. Following is free and allows you to see their public posts in your feed and receive notifications about new content. Check your "Following" page to see all creators you follow.
Direct messaging features may be available depending on the creator's settings. You can always interact with creators by commenting on their posts. Subscribers often get priority access to creator interactions.
General FAQ
Creating an account and browsing Clexif is completely free. You only pay when you choose to subscribe to creators or purchase items from their shops. Creators can use the platform for free, with fees only applied to successful transactions.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe. This includes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. All transactions are encrypted and secure.
Go to "My Account" and scroll to the bottom. Click "Delete Account" and confirm your decision. Your account will be scheduled for deletion after 30 days. You can cancel the deletion anytime within this period. After 30 days, all your data will be permanently removed.
If you see content that violates our Terms of Use, click the "Report" button on the post. Select the reason for reporting and submit. Our moderation team will review the report and take appropriate action. You can also contact us directly at support@clexif.ca.
Clexif's business model is based on business models already established by other similar platforms.
Clexif is a company owned by 9494-2646 Québec inc. and created by Quebec founders with the intention of becoming international.
Technical Problems
First, make sure you're using the correct email and password. If you forgot your password, click "Forgot Password" to reset it. Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try a different browser. If problems persist, contact our support team at support@clexif.ca.
Check that your video file size is within our limits and in a supported format (MP4, MOV, AVI). Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Try using a different browser or clearing your browser cache. For large files, the upload may take several minutes - please be patient and don't refresh the page.
